thyme’s (un)surprising medicinal might

If you’ve followed me for a while, you may know that thyme (Thymus vulgaris) was the plant that brought me to herbalism. That story was one of the first I told on my YouTube channel. It’s in a category of its own in my Immune Resilience Action Guide. And one of my best-loved YouTube videos featured my No. 1 thyme prescription: the herbal steam.

So when my beloved herbal friend Rosalee de la Foret invited me onto her podcast a few months ago, you obviously know which herb we discussed.

That podcast went live this morning, and I wanted you to make sure it hit your radar.

Card announcing Dr. Orna Izakson on Rosalee de la Foret's podcase, discusseing thyme and herbal steams for respiratory health

Rosalee and I cover a lot of ground in this episode. We talk about coming to herbalism, what inspires us about it, the way even familiar old friends like thyme can surprise us with their versatility, and even stories about thyme and our blood and chosen families.

How to use thyme for an herbal steam with Dr. Orna Izakson

Steams aren’t the only way to use thyme, of course. This is an incredibly versatile herb, both as food and as medicine.

Here are some of my posts about it:
